Welcome Aboard the Fishin' Luhrs

Come join us for a great fishing trip aboard the Fishin' Luhrs. The day begins with the thrill of the world famous Aerial Bridge lifting to allow passage through the Duluth Ship Canal onto the largest fresh water lake in the world. The Lake Superior fishery gets better every year, and you can expect to catch Lake Trout, Steelhead, Coho and Chinook Salmon and Walleye. Enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding area, the pristine waters of Lake Superior and the unforgettable sight of foreign and domestic ships. We will do all we can to make your charter a memorable and successful experience.

34' Luhrs "Fishin' Luhrs"

Our boat is a 34 foot Luhrs Tournament Sportsfisherman powered by twin 454 Crusader engines. Twin engines provide the necessary safety in the event of inclement weather or engine failure. The boat is 12.5 feet wide and is equipped with:

• State of the art fish-finding and navigation electronics
• Electric downriggers
• Premium fishing tackle
• Ship-to-shore radio
• Private Head (bathroom)
• Comfortable cabin (heated and air conditioned)
• Refrigerator
• FM Stereo / Tape Deck

What to bring

• Current MN or WI fishing license and trout stamp
• Warm clothing (temperature changes may be extreme)
• Sunglasses
• Rain gear
• Soft-soled shoes (no boots)
• Refreshments (Food and Beverages)
• Large cooler for transporting fish
• Camera or video camera

What we provide

• All necessary fishing equipment
• All required U.S. Coast Guard Safety Equipment
• Fish filleting and bagging
• Lodging packages or arrangements upon request
